Neil Mackenzie graduated from Oxford Brookes in Biological Sciences, following this he then studied his MSc at the same institution under the Supervision of Dr Ryan Pink. His MSc dissertation was on the development of a point of care test using High resolution Melt Analysis. During this time, he became exposed to the world of programming and computing. Neil believes that DNA computing can lead to revolution in precision medicine.
Neil started his PhD in April 2019 looking at DNA computing and its applications within industry.
